There’s something magical about winter in Toronto—especially when you get to document a love story in one of the city’s most charming neighborhoods, Ossington. For Sumen and Sangeetha, this area holds a special place in their hearts, so it only made sense to celebrate their engagement with a cozy, adventure-filled photoshoot through their favorite spots.

We kicked things off at Osler Playground Park, where the chilly air encouraged a bit of movement. A little walking, a little running, lots of laughing—exactly what we needed to warm up and ease into the shoot. Their energy was effortless, and even in the cold, they were glowing.

From there, we wandered toward their go-to dessert haven, Bang Bang Ice Cream and Bakery, snapping candid shots along the way. Inside, they shared a cup of ice cream—yes, ice cream in winter—and watching them devour it together was as sweet as the treat itself. The cozy indoor warmth made it the perfect mid-shoot stop.

Next, we headed over to Forget Me Not Coffee for something warm to hold onto. They enjoyed their drinks outside on the steps, wrapped up in each other’s arms, creating one of the dreamiest moments of the day. The soft winter light and their quiet embrace made it feel like a scene from a romance film.

We ended our loop back where we began, this time greeted by the comforting smell of fresh pizza waiting for us at Pizzeria Badiali. Sangeetha had the adorable idea to write their wedding date in the pizza box for their save the date invitation before digging in. And yes—thank you both for sharing. It was as delicious as the moment itself.
